Sitting in the smallest corner of this world and ordering necessary staffs online with fully content heart? Yes, technology has made things this much possible for the whole world and owing to this nowadays we don’t hesitate to call this world a global village. This hasty growth if technology has not only made our lives effortless but also has taken away our emotions, sentiments, attention towards our beloved ones. Among so many drawbacks of technology and its usage, we are going to bring to light the effects of technology on our social lives.

To start with that we can’t delay but mention the usage of mobile phones as the most recent phenomenon of this tech-savvy generation. Needless to mention the each and every pertinent detail of the benefits that mobile phones bring us as a daily basis. But the snags of this benefit are also terrifying.

Firstly the fact that terrifies every single conscious human being is that be it in any significant situation or any casual outing the gen Z is always found glued to their mobile phones. Moreover, the massive usage of social media has made it within peoples grip that people post almost everything from their personal to professional lives.

The setbacks are beyond imagination. Every morning the very moment we go through the newspaper we see such cases of crimes that occurred due to the disruptive use of mobile phones. The number is uncountable of how many young lives has committed just getting trapped by mobile phones. Particularly it is the young generation who mostly use this technology and also suffer the most in numbers. Cyber crimes have taken so many young lives at a very early age just because people became a bit more dependent on this device.

Other than this the ample use of social media is also threatening us in fear of having a lesser productive generation in the nearest future. People nowadays feel so at home passing time on social media than with passing time physically with their own society. It is a matter of sorrow that never before this happened in this world that a person is having thousands of friends in this really little span of life. Yet alas! only a few show up when in need. It is because virtual life and technology have gathered all kind of supremacy and mastered the level of how to create uber influence on human life. Can we with all our sense think of a day without having a technology in our lives? Certainly no!

When was the last time we met our dear friends or relatives in person and talked for an hour with touching and scrolling our beloved smartphone screens at least once? Clearly, we can’t recall.
The sad part is we don’t want to recall. We are so cozy in seeing whatsoever happening in the lives of others and clapping our hands sitting idle in our couches rather than going out with all we have just to help them if in need.

No this can’t be the advancement of any technological device that a mother gets her infant hold on a tablet with YouTube while she keeps herself busy with her own technological device probably with her friends. When will we go out of this technological imprisonment and grow knowledge about the other aspects of our lives? We don’t know. These are extremely necessary and can be done without the usage of any technology but with the little warm touch of motherhood.
